Amy Winehouse

Is it tragic? Was this her 'inevitable withdrawal?'

Its still.. Something.
She was young, she was talented and her loss is indeed that, a loss.
With her beehive hairstyle and excellent vocals, Amy  took jazz back to the top of the charts.
Her songs, such as Back To Black, paved the way for a new wave of British female vocalists such as Duffy and Adele.

Tragic were the events in her life throughout early to mid adulthood.
And still, talent shone through.

I still am shocked.

"We only said goodbye with words," she sang on "Back to Black." "I died a hundred times, you go back to her and I go back to…black."

RIP Amy Winehouse.
